Hardware, BIOS & Overclocking Disclaimer
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Some Bravo products — BIOS Optimization, the Overclock Pack, CPU/GPU Optimization, and the bundles that include them — touch firmware settings and operating parameters. They are guided, conservative and fully reversible, but you should read and understand this page before purchasing.
01Every device has a cap — and every device is different
There is no universal result. Two identical-spec PCs can respond differently to the same profile because silicon quality, cooling, power delivery and firmware versions vary unit to unit. Our guided values are chosen to sit safely inside your hardware's limits — not at them.
- Controllers have a maximum polling rate set by their hardware — no tweak can push a controller past what its chipset physically supports.
- Keyboards have a maximum polling rate too. If your board caps at 1000Hz, an 8000Hz setting simply isn't possible on that device.
- CPUs and GPUs each have their own silicon ceiling (the "silicon lottery"). Overclocking headroom differs per chip, even within the same model.
- Displayed gains are examples measured on reference hardware — your numbers will differ, and that's expected.
02What our BIOS optimization actually does
BIOS Optimization is a guided, step-by-step walkthrough of documented firmware settings — power states, C-states, memory profiles and latency-relevant toggles. You are shown each change, what it does, and how to undo it before it is applied.
We never flash, patch or modify BIOS firmware itself. We only guide you through settings your motherboard manufacturer exposes on purpose.
03Follow the guide — exactly
The guided process uses conservative, stability-tested values. Applying values beyond what the guide recommends — extra voltage, tighter timings, higher clocks — is entirely at your own risk. Bravo Tweaks is not liable for damage, instability or data loss caused by deviating from the guided process.
04Everything is reversible
Before any change is applied, Bravo snapshots your current configuration. One click restores your system to its exact previous state. If anything ever feels off, revert first — it takes under a minute.
For BIOS settings, the guide includes the exact steps to restore your board's previous values, and every motherboard also ships with a built-in "Load Optimized Defaults" escape hatch.
05Warranty and responsibility
Some hardware vendors treat overclocking as outside warranty coverage. It is your responsibility to understand your device's warranty terms before applying overclocking changes, and to use the revert function before making any warranty claim.
06If something goes wrong
Revert the profile, or load your motherboard's defaults if a BIOS setting is involved. If you're stuck, contact us — support and our Discord are staffed by people who do this daily, and we'd rather walk you back to stable than have you guess.
- One-click revert inside the Bravo app undoes every applied tweak.
- "Load Optimized Defaults" in your BIOS undoes firmware settings.
- support@bravotweaks.com or the Discord for anything else.
07Refunds still apply
None of this limits your refund rights: every purchase keeps its 14-day, no-questions money-back guarantee under our Refund Policy.
